CHERY servicing: what to expect
From checking when your next service is due to comparing a service plan, here is a straightforward guide to looking after your CHERY.
Your quick guide
- Plan ahead: use your car’s own maintenance schedule to check the next service date and mileage.
- Published plan option: CHERY lists a three-year/30,000-mile new-vehicle service plan at £599 for the models shown on its UK page.
- Keep the paperwork: service-plan inclusions, warranty conditions and roadside assistance are separate details to confirm.
When does your CHERY need servicing?
Start with your registration, current mileage and the maintenance schedule supplied with the car. The correct appointment depends on the model, powertrain and work already completed—not just how long you have owned it.
CHERY’s UK service-plan page describes scheduled services at 10,000-mile steps. Your vehicle’s time-based requirements still matter, so confirm the next due date as well as the mileage with the team.
A plan described as “three years or 30,000 miles” covers a period of ownership. It does not mean you should wait three years or 30,000 miles for the first service.
Keep a note of both limits in your diary. If your mileage changes, ask whether the appointment should move forward.
What does a service plan help with?
A service plan lets you budget for the scheduled work included in the contract. The useful comparison is the complete package for your exact car: how many services it covers, what each includes and when the plan ends.
CHERY lists plans for three, four and seven years, as well as a separate option for eligible used vehicles. Ask for the written inclusions and payment arrangements rather than comparing the headline price alone.
For example, check whether an MOT or a particular additional maintenance item is included. Tyres, accidental damage and repairs should not be assumed to form part of scheduled servicing.

Selected manufacturer-published UK plan totals checked 25 September 2026. These are service-plan prices, not individual service charges or an Invicta quotation. Other model totals and conditions are on CHERY’s service-plan page. Confirm eligibility, inclusions and the applicable time/mileage limits before purchase.
Choose a plan around the time and distance you expect to keep the car. A longer plan is only useful if its services and terms suit your ownership plans.
How servicing and warranty fit together
CHERY’s headline new-car manufacturer warranty is seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, with component limits, exclusions and conditions. Scheduled maintenance is part of looking after the car; warranty cover addresses qualifying defects.
The published warranty policy requires servicing in line with CHERY’s guidelines and intervals. Keep the completed records and invoices, including details of the work, parts and fluids used.
A service plan does not extend the warranty simply because it runs for seven years. Check the two arrangements separately, especially when buying used or taking over an existing plan.

Get more from the appointment
Before booking, note any questions you want to raise: an unfamiliar dashboard message, a connectivity issue or something you would like demonstrated. Describe when it happens so the team can allow for the right discussion or checks.
- Have the registration, mileage and previous service details ready.
- Ask for the scheduled work and any additional recommendations to be priced separately.
- Confirm the expected appointment arrangements and whether any transport option is available.
- Afterwards, keep the invoice and check the service record and next due date.
CHERY also offers roadside assistance arrangements, including service-activated renewal under its conditions. Ask what applies to your vehicle and retain the confirmation with your documents.

Your questions answered
Does a three-year CHERY service plan mean servicing every three years?
No. That describes the plan’s cover period. Follow the individual scheduled services and time/mileage requirements for your car.
Is the £599 plan the price of one service?
No. CHERY lists it as the total for its three-year/30,000-mile new-vehicle plan for the models shown. Confirm the contract details and current quotation.
Do Super Hybrid models still need servicing?
Yes. Follow the schedule for your particular model and powertrain, including its petrol and hybrid systems.
Does a service plan cover everything?
Only the work included in its terms. Ask separately about MOTs, wear items, repairs and any additional maintenance.
Should I keep paper invoices if there is a digital record?
Keeping invoices as well is useful: they show the work completed and make it easier to answer questions about the car’s history.
Can every Invicta CHERY showroom service my car?
Check with the team before travelling. Ask them to confirm the appropriate servicing location and appointment availability for your car.
