JAECOO 7 leads the way
OMODA and JAECOO enjoyed another strong month in August 2026, with three models among the UK’s ten best-selling new cars.
The JAECOO 7 led the pair’s line-up with 2,022 registrations, securing second place in the monthly rankings. JAECOO 5 followed in fourth, while OMODA 5 took sixth: a strong showing across more than one model.

A growing presence on UK roads
67,971 registrations so far in 2026
August’s results take the combined OMODA and JAECOO total to 67,971 new UK registrations from January to August. The brands have also passed 100,000 cumulative UK sales in under two years, according to their official August sales update.
The release highlights demand from different types of driver. Private buyers continued to support the JAECOO 7, while the JAECOO 5 and OMODA 5 also attracted fleet customers.
