Performance

Pairing a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine to an electric motor, the Jaecoo J5 SHS Hybrid delivers 221bhp and 310Nm torque combined. The powertrain drives the front wheels through a DHT automatic transmission, allowing for a seamless blend of pure electric or hybrid power on your drive. The model offers over 650 miles of WLTP driving range per tank of petrol, and returns up to 53mpg. As the battery is recharged through regenerative braking and direct drive, there’s no need to plug in.
