Getting ready for an electric car or plug-in hybrid? Pod Drive lets you spread the cost of a home charger across a three-year subscription, with installation arranged by Pod. Plug in where you park and make charging part of your everyday routine.
The Invicta offer shown in our customer leaflet is £49 upfront, followed by £34 a month for 36 months. That includes a £50 reduction on the usual £99 upfront fee. Your total subscription payments are £1,273, before electricity and any non-standard installation costs.

Five-year cover. A charger that’s yours.
Your subscription includes five-year warranty cover for the charger and installation, subject to Pod’s terms. The charger belongs to you once delivery and installation are complete and the required upfront payment and contract are in place. You keep it when the subscription ends.
Premium maintenance with a 48-hour guarantee
Pod first assesses a reported fault and tries to resolve it remotely. If an engineer visit is needed, its terms provide for a visit within 48 hours of Pod offering to arrange it.
If the visit is delayed beyond that period solely because of Pod, eligible customers receive Recharge credit for Pod’s public charging network while their charger remains unrepaired, subject to the terms.
What does a Pod Point home charger offer?
- Up to 7.4 kW home charging. Actual charging speed depends on your car’s AC charging capability and the installation.
- A choice of cable setup. Choose a tethered unit with an attached 6.5-metre Type 2 cable, or an untethered unit that uses a suitable separate cable.
- Smart charging through the Pod Home app. Schedule charging around your routine and compatible tariff.
- 24/7 customer support. Pod provides help with your home charging setup.
Before choosing a cable, think about where you park and where the car’s charging socket sits. Check that the cable will reach comfortably in your normal parking position.

How to claim your Invicta offer
- Open the Invicta referral page. Use the offer button or scan the QR code below. Select “Submit your enquiry” and enter your details on Pod’s website.
- Choose your charger and subscription. Pod will send a personalised email with the next steps. Review the upfront fee, monthly payments, total cost and terms before placing your order.
- Complete Pod’s home survey. This checks your parking, electrical supply and installation requirements. Pod will explain any additional work and costs.
- Arrange installation. Once the survey and requirements are agreed, Pod will confirm the available installation arrangements.
Have your vehicle details ready, along with information about where you park. If you rent your home, check the permissions needed for an installation.
Make smart charging work for you
Eligible customers can earn up to £100 a year through Pod Rewards by smart charging. This is separate from the £50 Invicta discount: rewards depend on your participation and the programme conditions.
Pod also offers access to Pod Power by EDF. Compare the whole tariff with your household’s usage, including daytime rates and standing charges, rather than choosing on an overnight rate alone.
A reliable Wi-Fi connection at the charger matters for smart features. Some energy-provider-managed smart EV tariffs are incompatible with Pod Rewards or the Pod Drive subscription, so check your existing tariff before choosing a plan.

Prefer to pay in one go?
You can also buy your home charger outright. The Invicta leaflet offers an untethered charger from £949, including the £50 saving and standard installation, with no monthly charger subscription payments.
A suitable charging cable is separate. Your chosen charger and any installation work beyond the standard scope affect the final price. Electricity costs are additional. Review the warranty and benefits for the outright option when comparing it with a subscription.

Home charging is relevant to fully electric cars and plug-in hybrids. Petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid and full-hybrid models without a charging socket do not plug in.

Do I own the charger when I subscribe?
Yes. Under Pod’s terms, ownership transfers after delivery and installation, once the applicable upfront payment has been made and the subscription contract is in place. You keep the charger after the agreement ends.
What does the 48-hour guarantee cover?
After assessing a fault, Pod offers an engineer visit within 48 hours of offering to arrange it. If that visit is delayed solely by Pod, eligible Recharge credit is available under its terms. Timing, eligibility and credit calculations follow Pod’s subscription terms.

The charger works with different energy suppliers. Access to Pod Rewards and subscription eligibility depends on your tariff: some supplier-managed smart EV tariffs are incompatible. Check with Pod before ordering.
What warranty is included?
Pod currently publishes three years of standard warranty for an outright purchase and five years for its subscription, subject to terms. Any different cover offered through your personalised promotion should be confirmed in your order documents. See Pod’s warranty statement.
Can I combine this with another Pod offer?
