MG4 Urban: trims and colours
Comfort or Premium? Find your MG4 EV Urban with a straightforward guide to range, everyday features and paint choices.
Your quick guide
- Three versions: Comfort Standard Range, Comfort Long Range and Premium Long Range.
- Choose your range: up to 201, 258 or 251 miles respectively on the WLTP combined test.
- Make it yours: compare Comfort’s everyday equipment with Premium’s extra comfort features, then choose your colour.
Start with your journeys
Which MG4 Urban trim suits you?
Choosing your MG4 EV Urban starts with two questions: how far do you normally drive, and which features would you enjoy every day? Comfort gives you a well-equipped starting point with a choice of two batteries. Premium pairs the larger battery with extra comfort and parking equipment.
If you can charge conveniently at home or work, think about the miles between those charging opportunities. For longer journeys, compare the route and charging stops as well as the headline range. Then choose the equipment you will use, rather than simply working upwards through the trim names.

Comfort explained
Useful features from the start
Both Comfort versions include a 12.8-inch touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic LED headlights, a reversing camera and keyless entry. MG Pilot includes adaptive cruise control.
That means choosing Standard Range does not mean missing the core connectivity features. The decision between the two Comfort versions is mainly about how much battery capacity and official range you want.
On a showroom visit, connect your phone, enter a familiar destination and try the reversing camera. These are small checks, but they help you picture using the car on a normal working day.
Premium explained
The extras you can enjoy every day
Premium Long Range adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree parking camera, rear privacy glass and ambient lighting. Wireless phone charging and a six-speaker audio system add to the package.
The appeal is easy to understand on a cold morning or when parking in a tight space. Try the seat adjustment for yourself and ask the team to demonstrate the different camera views; you can then judge whether those features are worth the step up for you.
Premium’s official range is 251 miles, compared with 258 miles for Comfort Long Range. Both use the larger battery, but their specifications differ, including the wheel size. Choose Premium for its additional equipment; choose Comfort Long Range if the highest WLTP range is your priority.

MG4 Urban colour choices
The colour changes the character of the car just as much as the wheels. Start with the look you prefer, then ask the team to check availability and any paint charge on your chosen version.
Arctic White
Holborn Blue
Stone Green
Dynamic Red
Arctic White and Holborn Blue are listed as no-cost paint choices. White gives a clean, simple finish; blue brings more colour to the shape without stepping into an optional paint finish.
Black Pearl, Camden Grey and Cosmic Silver offer the darker and neutral alternatives. Black, grey and silver are worth viewing together if you are deciding how much contrast you want against the lights and exterior trim.
Stone Green and Dynamic Red give the car a different personality, from a softer green to a brighter red. If Windsor Violet has caught your eye, ask our team to confirm availability for your chosen version.
Optional paint costs extra. Confirm the colour, finish, surcharge and availability in your quotation. Images are illustrative: lighting and screens affect how paint looks. Colour illustrations: MG / Invicta Motors.
Before you choose
Put your shortlist to the test
Once you have a favourite trim and colour, make the visit practical. Bring your phone, adjust the driver’s seat, sit in the rear and try the controls you use most. If you are choosing between the two Long Range versions, ask to compare their equipment and the complete quotations side by side.
You can browse MG4 EV Urban new car stock to see advertised cars, or explore our current MG4 EV Urban offers before contacting the team. Ask about your preferred colour early if delivery timing matters.
