The Tiggo 4 is fitted with Chery's new fifth-generation hybrid system, a full-hybrid powertrain without a plug. There's a 1.5-litre, four cylinder engine partnered with a 1.83kWh battery and 3-speed automatic transmission. With a total output of 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, 0-62mph is achievable in 8.9 seconds. Official fuel efficiency is given as an average of 53.2mpg.
With an upright SUV profile and a floating roofline effect thanks to the blanked-out rear pillars, rear LED light bar and a large grille at the front, Tiggo 4 follows the design of the larger Tiggo 7, but is 233mm shorter. Bootspace is 430 litres with 1,155 litres available when the rear seats are folded.
