Performance

The Renault Austral is exclusively available with the innovative E-Tech self-charging Full Hybrid 200 powertrain. This features a 1.2-litre petrol engine and two electric motors delivering a combined 200hp. Charged by regenerative braking, the 2kWh battery powers the Austral E-Tech Full Hybrid on electric power for short distances in town, and boosts fuel efficiency on longer drives. The car can return up to 58.9mpg and a maximum driving range up to 683 miles WLTP, with no need to plug in.
