The all-new Mazda CX-6e brings Mazda’s design-led approach to the heart of the electric family-SUV market, with a simple two-grade range and a strong standard specification.
Mazda UK has confirmed pricing, key equipment, battery capacity, performance and charging information ahead of its arrival later in 2026.
The combination of a 78kWh battery, rear-wheel drive and rapid charging is matched by a spacious cabin and a wide 26.45-inch touchscreen. Auto Express also described it as “possibly the best-looking family SUV around”.

Takumi or Takumi Plus
The range opens with a comprehensive specification and 19-inch wheels. Stone or Black Maztex upholstery is available, while 21-inch wheels can be added for £1,000.
Takumi Plus adds 21-inch wheels, digital rear-view and side cameras, ambient interior lighting, heated outer rear seats and ventilated outer rear-seat bases.
Range and performance
Rear-wheel drive and up to 300 miles
A rear-mounted motor sends 258PS and 290Nm to the rear wheels through a single-speed transmission. Mazda quotes 0–62mph in 7.9 seconds with 19-inch wheels and a top speed of 115mph.
The up-to-300-mile WLTP range remains a preliminary figure. As with every electric vehicle, real-world range will vary with temperature, speed, load, wheel choice and use of heating or air conditioning.
Design and technology
A spacious cabin shaped around people
Mazda says the interior draws on the Japanese concept of Ma—the thoughtful use of space. A 2,902mm wheelbase helps create generous passenger room, while the boot provides 468 litres with the rear seats raised and 1,434 litres with them folded.
Connected cockpit
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, gesture control and a large head-up display support the panoramic touchscreen.
Remote functions
The dedicated app includes battery-charge management and Bluetooth key sharing.
Safety technology
Every model has nine airbags plus cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors supporting Mazda’s driver-assistance systems.
