Performance

The Mazda 6e electric sedan is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor developing 258 horsepower and 290Nm torque, providing effortlessly smooth performance. Acceleration to 62mph takes just 7.9 seconds. All models use a 78kWh lithium-ion battery with long range capability up to 348 miles between charges. Using a 195kW DC rapid charger, the Mazda 6e takes just 24 minutes to top-up from 10-80%, with a full charge on a home wallbox taking 11 hours and 48 minutes.

Exterior Design

Elegantly striking, the Mazda 6e design embodies the Kodo design ethos of soul in motion. The 6e brings Mazda’s styling hallmarks into the electric age, with the grille framed by bold LED lighting. The headlight projectors are hidden from view until activated, appearing below the five-segment running lights. The sedan silhouette is formed by a long, curved roofline that descends into a short rear deck - home to an active rear spoiler, and the signature circular rear lights.

Opening the coupe-style frameless doors reveals a driver-centric cabin with plush monoform seats, refined stitching and satin accents. The luxurious interior offers space and comfort for five occupants, with intelligent technology and a 14-speaker Sony sound system making each journey an immersive experience. The liftback opening makes for convenient access to the boot, with 466 litres of storage space. This rises to 1,074 litres with the second row folded, and is boosted by a 72 litre frunk.
