Dacia Bigster trim guide
Choose the equipment you will use
Bigster’s three UK trims offer different ways to equip the same five-seat family SUV. Expression is the lower-price starting point, Journey focuses on everyday convenience, and Extreme adds a more outdoors-oriented specification.
Journey and Extreme are worth comparing directly rather than assuming the most expensive badge simply adds everything. Decide whether you would get more use from Journey’s equipment or Extreme’s roof and styling features.

Expression: useful equipment without the bigger price step
Expression is worth considering if you want Bigster’s family-SUV layout and would rather keep the initial purchase price lower. Its touchscreen, smartphone connection and climate-control equipment give you a practical starting specification.
Before moving to another trim, try the screen and camera views and sit in your normal driving position. If the features already meet your needs, spending more may not add much to your everyday use.
Journey: convenience for everyday family use
Journey’s electric tailgate is a feature to try if you frequently load shopping or luggage. The larger driver display and Media Nav Live system are also worth seeing, particularly if built-in navigation is important to you.
Think about the occasions on which those features would help. An equipment upgrade is easier to justify when it solves a regular need, rather than something you might use once. Ask the team to show the exact Journey specification you are considering.
Extreme: roof features and a different character
Extreme’s panoramic opening sunroof and modular roof bars give it a different appeal. The Copper Brown detailing adds another visual distinction. If you are interested in carrying bikes or a roof box, ask about compatible equipment, fitting and the applicable load limits.
Extreme is a trim name, not a guarantee of four-wheel drive. Choose the powertrain separately. The mild hybrid 140 manual used in the price comparison should not be confused with a separately specified hybrid 150 4x4.
For the trim decision, try the cabin with the roof blind open and closed, and compare the exact equipment quotation against Journey.
